Another great winter run

Today was another great run at the mountain.  I did flip out a bit at a group of scarey 20-something female snowshoers.  RunnerMom had to come pick me up because there was NO WAY I was running past that creepy group.  Here are a couple pics of my more rational moments on the run.

Great day to get out of the fog and gloom of the valley below. Fog makes me shake.

Blue skies-awesome winter run!

RunnerMom and I left the gloomy foggy 23 degree valley for blue skies and 38 degrees at the mountain. We covered 5.5 miles with 1200 feet elevation gain. It was great fun. I ran so super fast today!

  The 2 legged type wore snowshoes. But my splotched dog feet work under all conditions!!

When I saw Runnermom putting on her running gear this morning I thought "Wow it's gonna be a cold one, my wee froze to my tinkler this morning when I went out!"  I wonder if a sign that says "seasonal" means "stay home when it's in the teens bozos!"

This is the temp when we started out. It warmed to a balmy 16 by the time we finished. 

Runnermom put hand warmers inside secret pockets in my Ruffwear coat. And wrapped my dew claws, as always on the trail. But we had an awesome 6 mile run today.

We're not the best "trackers" but these look mildly familiar. 

Antoine Fall Run

Runnermom was a little slow on the climbs today, geesh!!  My pal Rosco was with us today and he didn't even lag behind once. Runnermom says she'll make a runnerdog out of him yet. I told Rosco that's all fine and good but don't forget who number 1 is around here. If I think he's jockeying for my position I'll tear up Kleenex tissues and poop on the floor and he will take the punishment. I'm so favored Runnermom never thinks I was the bad one.
